After graduating in Nursing, Brenda Leonard has worked as a Registered Nurse for almost 25 years. Also, she has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, completed her Masters in Counselling and worked as a Diabetes Nurse Educator. She is currently working as a Counsellor and recently completed a Masters of Education.
Growing up on a farm in the Halton community did instill a deep connection with nature that has had a profound influence on her personal and professional life. The devastating loss of her “mentor”, who died at an early age of a terrible illness, became the catalyst for Brenda’s passion to help others with life’s challenges.
Brenda offers counselling services for a vast variety of issues including anxiety, depression, diabetes, stress, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss. She is committed to working with her clients to find and develop the appropriate technique approach that fits their needs.
